The Play Station (Yorkshire) Ltd was established in August 2005. We have grown with demand from other schools and now have several provisions throughout the Rotherham area establishing ourselves as a highly regarded childcare provider.

The Play Station provides accessible, affordable, high quality childcare all year round through its network of Breakfast, After School and Holiday clubs which allows families more choice to balance work and family life, knowing their children are safe and happy in our clubs.

We aim to inspire, stimulate and motivate children in a friendly and safe environment allowing them to develop as individuals and learn through play. We encourage children to become involved in many aspects of the provision through imaginative planning which enables them to access a diverse range of activities including Arts & Crafts, Board games, Pool/Snooker, Role Play, Outdoor games, Quiet/Homework area, Cooking, visits and much more. Children are offered a variety of healthy snacks during each of the sessions.

The range of activities we provide fit in with the wider Every Child Matters objectives of ensuring that children stay safe, are healthy, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic wellbeing. All our Clubs are run by fully trained and experienced staff with CRB checks at an enhanced level.

All our provisions are registered with Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education) and are inspected in accordance with the National standards for under 8s daycare providers. In addition to this we strive to maintain further high standards by participating in programs such as Aiming Higher which is a Government accredited quality assurance scheme.
